Back to the 1 room flat in Bukit Merah for the cleanup..heehee..
We were assigned 2 units to clean up and do some painting. As our elderly is not in until 10am, we first helped to distribute water to the ppl alreadi up in the flats doing their work. As we travel the whole block, we saw some flats tat had walls so dirty until their colors are yellow or brown. The volunteers were busy scrapping paints off and moving the funitures out. One unit was badly infested with bedbugs tat the volunteers assigned to this unit were calling for help to the group leaders through walkie-talkie.
Luckily for us, we got units that were quite clean and we only need to do painting on 1 wall and cleaning. No xiao qiang or lizard came out to greet us..haha. The auntie even treated us chocolate, so kind of her.
Dun understand why some children can abandon their parents and not visit them.
I LOVE my family: my papa, mama,ah chang( my sister) and didi(my brother).
