Stupid dumb NUS system. What NUS make up to be a fair system is in fact a system filled with loop-holes. It says all projects are for balloting, but some are already being booked by students who approach profs. Worse still, some students hav alreadi started on their honours proj, when projs can only begin when sch starts. Especially the "yi li qiu" prof, who allow students to start proj just bcoz he wans results.... %*@#!@#$%$#$.
I cant get national day tix for this year..AGAIN.. My whole family applied but none got it..hai..its fate tat my family will not get tix through balloting. As usual, we will hav to watch the parade through tv.
Yesterday meet up wif some jc frens at mache. I ate jumbo chicken leg wif mashed potato and shared drink and cakes wif shiyun. Its reali great to meet up wif frens once a while to interact. Even though i m reali tired, i enjoyed it :) Karkar suggested playing badminton today, so me, karkar and jy met up for badminton. So long nvr played, so i even had trouble hitting the shuttlecock. After that, I rushed home for a bath and to causeway pt for movie. Sorry, karkar, but i dun reali wan to watch My Family. Me n jy watched Cars instead. Its a reali cute movie, n i luv the tiny car which help to change tyres one.
Po-po (my supervisor) kind of scolded me today. She told me to compile the data i got. I did as she told and made a table to write down my data. Then i observed some trends n note it down. She came into lab n i showed her my table. Instead she said "u need to take initiative to observe any trends (which i did...but she nvr notice), its not like i ask u to stand.. u stand, n ask u to sit n u sit" I dont even hav time to tell her n she scolded me #@$%%^###%. If i nvr use my brain, will i be able to notice splitting of peaks causing low recovery?will i be able to figure out how to use machine without much help? she oni noe how to sit in her office n relax, n wait for my results...

I went out with lili and chun xiang for dinner at a restaurant near city hall mrt station on monday..we had thai food n the serving was large. Since there is a pasar malam near lili n my house, we had a walk around in search of tako n smelly tofu. In the end, we cant find any(due to 1st day opening n not all the stalls are here yet). Lili bought gift wrappers for 10 cents each though n a batman mask for chun xiang(hee..hee). Received a call from my uni fren on fri..so touched tat she take time to call me ( i never). We chat abt taking which proj this coming semester.
Abt 1 more month to go for my internship, trying to squeeze out results now. My pace have to go faster now. I can only do so little in one day. Gambate!! Yah...jia you to mi lu bin (superband) oso.

I had a great wkend :) as normally i wil just laze ard at home. Monday is coming, back to lab again. But i reali enjoyed doing my proj and mixing ard wif my colleagues. One senior officer, Xiao lhu is reali friendly and helpful. She lend me rack n some apparatus to use. The only thing i dreaded is my supervisor who likes to chase after me for results. Bet she wil come into lab on monday for results again :(
