Ended my internship on fri... gave a presentation which i at first was very scared of. But i just said to myself tat it would be a sharing experience with them and no matter how scared i m, i just hav to be brave n just do it. In the end, it went smoothly except i am unable to answer some qns posted. At least this experience gave me some confidence which i need for my honours proj.
4 more days to the end of my internship. Already starting to tidy up my stuffs. My colleagues saw me packing n ask me y i m closing up my stall so soon. hee. Feel relieve tat i wil stop all my routine work of taking out the toxins fr the fridge once i step into the lab..switch on instrument..pipette toxins into round bottom flasks n blah blah...
Today I went to jingying's graduation ceremony. Qiaoshi had wanted to come but was held up last minute. So end up me alone with a small bouquet of flowers. Anyway, the university hall was filled with happy atmosphere, with graduates throwing their mortar up in the air. I suddenly got the urge to graduate immediately.
I bought some cakes for them to eat during my last day..a pity my "teacher", Dora, who taught me alot during this period is not there to share the cakes. She is in hospital now due to viral infection. Hope she gets well soon.
The thought tat i wont be stepping into tat lab tmr le just saddens me. Haiz.. this is part of life.
I received a present from my pen-pal from germany. Its a toy with castle n knights..she said tat this toy is common in germany. I got to noe her from secondary sch..tink its tat time when me n the happy folks gang register thru mail for pen-pal. So..its been 7+ years n she rmbs me :) She had been periodically sending me postcards n presents since now. I m reali glad to befriend her. I bought a magnet with the scene of clark quay n 2 toy balls, which were veri traditional, for her.
1 more wk to sch..i will try to rest more, as i can foresee that i will be veri busy when sch starts.

But somehow i wil miss all my colleagues there. Just starting to get reali close to them as we joke around by suaning each other. The laughter of kheng as she stands by the fumehood doing her work. I m getting so used to the lab env that i noe whose walking pass, by just listening to their footsteps. Sadly, i wil be leaving soon. They r reali a nice bunch of ppl except for the tedious work there. Every morning, there wil be ppl complaining of the tonnes of work required to do, n how unwilling they r to step into the lab.
I wil be presenting this fri. They ask me when i m presenting, coz there wil be free lunch provided after tat. Haha. Reali a greedy n cheapo lot. Anyway.. i wil miss them. :)

The hall was filled with people that i never saw Jingying even though she was standing right in front of me..haha. Saw jingying's sister n mother. So long never c jingting le...become so pretty. We had a lot of photos..here n there, while jingying kept on saying she wanted to take off her gown..haha..stil so bunny. Also Jingying's mother veri cute.. arranging who to pose for photo nxt.
I am so excited that although i stil hav a year, i m planning whether to wear pants or skirt le..i went home to tell my sis to buy flowers or grad bear for me.. but she pretend not to hear
:( hoho. My sis n my bro say i m crazy.
Jingying.. congrats on ur graduation! & Liyi too! Sorry..i reali couldn't apply for leave le..or my supervisor will be veri unhappy.
