Back from Hongkong!Like the trip a lot. Get to see and experience a different culture from Singapore. An impression I got of Hongkong from this trip is that, its a place packed with people, a lot of vehicles, streets full of handsome guys, rather polluted air and mesmerising night scene.

Landed in Hongkong on Tuesday morning, walked around ladies' market and proceeded down to Tsim Sha Tsui for the avenue of stars. The weather was super cold that night. The landscape of the area...

Next day, we took the MTR to lantau island for to see the Big Buddha. Had a bumpy ride on the bus up and down the mountains before we reached there. I must say that you will not regret going there, coz you will be taken in by the huge Buddha in front of you.

At night, we moved on to the Peak, by taking the peak tram up. So impressed by the tram, which is sometimes inclined at more than 45 degrees up and down the peak. The scene of Hongkong at the peak was breathtaking

The madam tussade is at the peak, guess wat, I took a picture with Lee Kuan Yew there!haha...

The 3rd day..off to disneyland! Got to take picture with my favorite character, pooh bear.

The christmas lightings of the castle was beautiful..

The last day, we moved on to Wong Tai Sin temple and do our last minute shopping at Mongkok. Say goodbye to HongKong on Saturday morning. The sight on the plane was equally breathtaking.

The sky was so clear that you can see the land far below..

Some cultures of Hongkongers...they will wash their utensils in chinese tea first before using. They stand on the right instead of the left on escalators, allowing ppl to pass quickly on the left. They seldom sms, unlike us..guess its because its difficult to write in cantonese. Their shopping centres only open at 1pm..they open till late at night. Their street markets only completely open at 3pm. Their MTR is really much efficient than MRT in Singapore..intervals of trains at only 2mins. They will inform you which side the door will open at the next station. All of them speak cantonese..but they will communicate with you in Chinese once you speak to them in chinese, the older generation cannot though.

I will upload the photos soon onto flickr and share with you all :)
