Once in a Lifetime

Still busy as a bee from monday (げつようび）to friday (きんようび) in my work...no longer complaining and feeling vex with my job. With a different perspective, I find that my job has its good points...rather than always digging out its bad points and amplifying them. Everyday, I can meet my friendly colleagues and complete my work on time without stress. I can also go home from work almost on time without ot.

I am also happy to learn some japanese during my leisure time...which I find enjoyable. But now my japanese is only limited edition, broken jap in a sense..haha. So I guess when I talk in japanese, they will reply, わかりません、もういちど、いってください。(I don't understand, can you please repeat again?)

Weekends are the best!! Meaning, I do not need to be squeezed like a sardine in mrt and bus. Other than revising my japanese, I will sometimes go out with friends to relax. But even weekends, places like orchard will be packed. Perhaps I am old now, cannot stand having to find my way through the packed streets. On Weekdays, I have been fighting to get on trains and buses, and I don't want my weekends to be like that also. My legs cannot take it...veins popping out le. haha. So I prefer quiet places like my home where I can lift my legs up on the table.

Sometimes I find Singaporeans too busy with their life to notice the beautiful things around them. Today, when I sat in the library and gaze out of the window at the streets, I realise the scenery was so beautiful outside, with all the greenery and the clear blue sky.

用跑的能到终点，用走的也能到终点。I find this phrase full of meaning, when your final day comes, its not about the amount of money you earned or the material things you owned, but its about how you have live your life that you will reminisce.
