I had great expectations for this movie and it did not disappoint me.. this is really a superb movie.. Suspect X.
It is not only a thriller movie..but also a love story. The movie is superb as it intricately integrate love into a well-planned aversion of suspect in a murder case. Usually most movies have at most 1 twist towards the end, but Suspect X has 2 twists, 2 very sad twists.
The man's love for her is so strong...that he is willing to do all that for her. A simple gesture of her in their 1st acquaintance, brought huge warmth to him, which she didn't expect. Laughters heard between her and her daughter beside his house is enough to brighten up his life. Things which seems insignificant to others are magnified in this lonely man's heart. The 1st twist made us doubted his love for her, but he being a genius has everything planned well ahead, which is unexpected.
In the same sense which I came to understand, sometimes we may have hurt others unintentionally through our words without knowing or we may have bring warmth to others with our simple caring gesture.
The movie also bring out the forgotten part of society, the poor. Everyone has been living so near to each other, everyday passing by each other, but no one notice each other, all living in a world of their own. Especially the poor, who are invisible to the society.
The shooting of the movie takes care of every details up to the last. I especially like jap movies, smooth flowing without any huge climax but bring out many issues which sets us thinking about it even after watching the movie. A highly recommended movie... 9.5/10.
